As I told you in my original post I would be including things said by my students. This one actually comes from one of my sisters students however. She is a ninth-grade English teacher and her class was discussing "The Crucible." She asked the class what adultery means and one of the students said," Adultery is when little kids know more than adults and everyone listens to what the little kids say instead of the adults."

Hey, I can see some truth in there! The little kid in someone thinks he/she knows what's best for her/him... Instead of the adult, the boring old voice of reason.
Nice. Also, kinda nice to know that a sexual reference is unknown to any high schooler, anywhere.
